WHAT WE DO

DFA is an entirely volunteer run charitable organization. The Board of Directors through their personal donations, is committed to covering all of the overhead expenses in Israel ( for example, all professional expenses, website maintenance, banking fees).

 

All funds donated, with the exception of credit card fees and costs related to the transfer of funds to Israel, will be used for the purposes of the organization.

 

Donations will be restricted to individuals and families in need who have family members who either are presently serving, or have served in the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), the National Service for Observant Girls, Magen David Adom, Hatzalah, or ZAKA.

 

Funds are transferred directly to suppliers of the established needs; no funds are given to the families.

 

All donations are given based on the recommendations of Israeli municipal social welfare offices.
