Directed Financial Assistance
DFA (Directed Financial Assistance) was established in order to assist individuals and families (with an emphasis on families with special needs children) who live either in the North or the South of Israel and who have suffered financially as a result of the “Swords of Iron War”. DFA, in consultation with Israeli Government Welfare offices, will establish where need is most acute in each particular case and will direct funding to that need, directly to the supplier of the family’s needs.

who have served Israel
DFA assists individuals and families who have served in either the IDF (Israel Defence Forces), National Service for Observant Women, Magen David Adom, or ZAKA.
Your Generous Donations
All donations go directly to assist those in need except for overseas transfer and credit card charges. All overhead expenses of DFA are borne by the Board of Directors

Social Welfare Offices
DFA donates funds exclusively on the basis of recommendations of Israeli Government Social Welfare offices. Funds are given to suppliers of those in need as specified by Social Workers.
Directed Financial Assistance (DFA) began its activities in November 2024. As of the end of fiscal year 2024 DFA has assisted several families, all by way of recommendations of the social welfare offices located in communities of southern Israel (Azza Envelope). We have provided assistance with partial payments (mostly on a matching basis with the recipients paying at least 50%) of deficiencies in municipal taxes,monthly rent, day care centers, specialized pediatric dental work, as well as the purchase of a laptop for an autistic child. Virtually all of the assistance is related to difficulties resulting from the war in Azza.
